A common question I get asked is how to make an extra $1000 a month. I understand how frustrating it is working paycheck to paycheck. Yet, most people do not know how to get started with a new side hustle.
When I began side hustling, I did not even realize I was creating a side hustle. For me it was a matter of making money to care for my family. I have tried my share of side hustles and learned there are other people out there like myself who want to earn extra income.

Side Hustles in My Life
Honestly, most of my side hustles were out of necessity. My husband and I did not go to college right away. We both worked from the age of 16 and were married young. In fact, I have worked multiple jobs most of my life.
Approximately 11 years ago I began a side hustle with my husband. It was the first time our side hustle did not have us working for someone else.
We began the side hustle while working our regular jobs during the day. At this time in our lives, we just wanted to pay our bills and create extra income. Working our own side hustle from home was convenient to our family life with our kids.
From that point on I continued to work hard at various side hustles. I discovered many ways to make an extra $1000 a month.
But keep in mind you might not be able to make an extra $1000 a month from just one side hustle.
My journey with side hustling has been enlightening and eventful in so many ways. I continue to learn every day.
