Inexpensive gifts for kids are often hard to come by.  Manufacturers sell a wide variety of toys, books, and games online and in-store.  However, when we look for deals, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we are getting a worthy product.  Books, magazines, and wooden play sets are inexpensive gifts for kids that are fun and educational.  I have included some products that we have used in our home.  I have found these items to be an excellent deal for the price.

Some of my favorite early learning games and play foods are from Melissa & Doug.  Melissa & Doug have a large assortment of classic toys, blocks, puzzles, and dolls.  Having children who were hard on their toys, I found that the wood style toys lasted much longer than the usual plastic toys.  Barnes and Noble sells the full line of Melissa & Doug products.  Furthermore, Barnes and Noble includes free shipping on qualifying purchases over $25.
