Amazon Prime is now offering a six month trial period for all college students.  The offer includes two-day shipping for free, unlimited movie and TV streaming, and deals on school supplies.  After the trial period, the monthly payment is $5.49 a month.

UNiDAYS is a company that offers discounts to students.  I recently came across this when I was visiting the Hollister Co. website.  Down at the very bottom of the Hollister’s website they have a link for student discounts.  By registering I was able to retrieve a discount code for 10% off at checkout just by validating my school and school email.  After signing up with UNiDAYS, I started receiving emails that indicated that I could get discounts on other online stores such as Urban Outfitters, Roxy, Levi’s, New Balance, Claire’s, and many more.  UNiDAYS will quickly become a family favorite because I have growing teens in my household.

Discounts and Cash Back

For automotive needs, AutoZone rewards earn $20 when you make five purchases of $20 or more.  AutoZone is a plus for individuals that work on their automobiles or are frequently in need of windshield wipers, oils, etc.

CVS is a well-known convenient store.  Many people use CVS for prescriptions.  CVS offers a rewards program that allows you to redeem 2% cash back on some purchases just by using their ExtraCare card.

When you purchase at Kohl’s, you are given Kohl’s Cash to use at a later date.  rue21 provides the buyer with rueBUCK$ which is similar to Kohl’s Cash because you will be given BUCK$ to spend at a later date when you make purchases.

Another great deal for those individuals that like to shop at Target is the Target Red Card.  Most cashiers at Target are good at providing this information, but sometimes people are leery of signing up for new cards because this tends to look more like a credit card than another regular debit card.  You do have a choice to sign up for the credit card.  However, when you sign up for the Target Red Card debit card, you receive 5% back on purchases.  The Red Card is linked to your existing checking account.  You will be using the same checking account attached to your everyday debit card, and you will obtain 5% back.  The bonus to this card is that you can purchase Starbucks from in-store locations and receive 5% back there too.
